ANNEX 2 - CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
Conditions offered by the applicant in relation to the Four Licensing Objectives
All applicable regulations including Health & Safety, Fire Safety will be implemented, maintained and complied with.
The manager will be the designated person responsible for public safety
Complete co-operation will be ensure with police, local authorities, community organisations and other relevant regulatory bodies in order to meet the licensing objectives
Information notices about crime and disorder issues will be displayed at the request of the Council
Public Safety
Health & Safety and Fire Regulation procedures are implemented and maintained.
Manager / Senior member of staff will be responsible for staff and public safety.
Staff will be trained in Health & Safety procedures and a Health & Safety register will be maintained.
Health & Safety equipment will be provided and maintained on the premises.
Emergency lighting will be installed on the premises.
Smoke detectors will be installed and maintained on the premises.
Emergency escape route will be kept clear at all times and an evacuation procedure will be maintained and complied with.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Complete cooperation will be given to the police, local authorities and community organisations and other relevant bodies for prevention and public nuisance.
Doors and windows are always kept shut (except for ingress and egress) to reduce noise nuisance from the premises.
External lighting is installed and maintained in order to promote the licensing objectives. Liais with the appropriate Environmental Services department will be ensured that any lighting is positioned so as to minimise the risk of causing public nuisance by light pollution.
Adequate, suitable and secured receptacles are provided to receive and store refuse from the premises. The receptacles for refuse storage are kept in a clean and designated internal location and will be kept secure in front of the shop window for a licensed refuse collection services.
After closing time the staff will pick up the litter in the vicinity around the premises.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Thecustomer sales and payment area are kept free of objects potentially harmful to children. CCTV cameras will be installed in the sales and payment area.

The prevention of crime and disorder:
Suffolk Constabulary requires the following conditions to be added to the premises licence:
The premises shall install and maintain a comprehensive CCTV system as per the minimum requirements of the Police. All entry and exit points will be covered, as will all areas where licensable activities are happening, enabling frontal identification of every person entering in any light condition. The CCTV system shall continually record whilst the premises is open for licensable activities and during all times when customers remain on the premises. All recordings shall be stored for a minimum period of 30 days with date and time stamping
Recordings shall be made available immediately upon the request of Police or authorised officer throughout the preceding 30 day period.
A staff member who is conversant with the operation of the CCTV system shall be on the premises at all times when the premises are open to the public. This staff member will be able to show a Police or Authorised Licensing Officer recent data or footage with the absolute minimum delay when requested and be able to download relevant footage onto a disc or memory stick.
A CCTV log must be maintained and endorsed by signature indicating that the system is checked weekly. In the event of any failings or faults, any actions taken to remedy the failings or faults are recorded. In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment, the Premises Licence Holder or DPS will report the failure to the Police and Licensing Authority immediately.
A log shall be kept at the premises for a minimum of 12 months from the date of each entry, and made available on request to an authorised officer of the Ipswich Council or the Police. It must be completed within 24 hours of the incident and will record the following: (a) all crimes reported to the venue (b) all ejections of patrons (c) any complaints received concerning crime and disorder (d) any incidents of disorder (e) any faults in the CCTV system (f) any visit by a relevant authority or emergency service.
Notices shall be prominently displayed at all exits requesting patrons to respect the needs of local residents and to leave the premises and the area quietly.
Persons under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by an adult if entering the premises after 23.00.
The premises will subscribe to the Townlink radio system or similar, to be used by management and door staff.

The shop will reduce / eliminate the sauce, vinegar, salt and pepper sachets / plastic pots and cutlery.
The shop will use larger & paper takeaway carrier bags to accommodate 2 or 3 meals.
The insulated plastic containers (HPD containers used for burgers/chips) will either be eliminated where possible or replaced with recyclable cardboard boxes.

The next batch of the boxed and carrier bags will be printed with street litter reduction message(s).
Waste reduction signs / notices will be displayed at the till and at the exit door.
A bin will be installed immediately next to the customer exit door inside the shop labelled “Use Me, Not the Ipswich Streets”.
The shop will provide a bin immediately outside the shop with the same label. It will be monitored and regularly cleaned by a designated member of staff.
