Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Premises Operating Schedule
Conditions offered by the applicant
General
The applicant shall display notices requesting its customers to leave the premises quietly
The applicant complies with and shall continue to comply with fire regulations and food and hygiene regulations
After midnight sections of the store (see plan) will be partitioned off to allow takeaway service only.
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
The applicant shall make rubbish bins and other receptacles as may be appropriate, available within the premises for the disposal of its product related packaging
Public Safety
The applicant shall ensure that an adequate and appropriate supply of first aid equipment is available at the premises.
Prevention of Public Nuisance
At all times the premises is open to the public for the provision of Late Night Refreshment the applicant shall ensure that at least two members of staff are on the premises (bar emergency situations). These staff will be provided with 'radiolink' communication to the police and CCTV.
Conditions agreed through mediation with Suffolk Constabulary
1. CCTV WILL be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of EVIDENTIAL QUALITY in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition.
2. Equipment MUST be maintained in good working order, be correctly time and date stamped, recordings MUST be kept in date order, numbered sequentially and kept for a period of 31 days and handed to Police on demand.
3. The Premises Licence Holder must ensure at all times a DPS or appointed member of staff is capable and competent at downloading CCTV footage in a recordable format EITHER DISC or VHS to the Police/Local Authority on demand.
4. The Recording equipment and tapes/discs shall be kept in a secure environment under the control of the DPS or other responsible named individual.
5. An operational daily log report must be maintained endorsed by signature, indicating the system has been checked and is compliant, in the event of any failings actions taken are to be recorded.
6. In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment the Premises Licence holder/DPS MUST report the failure to the Police on contact number 01473 613500 immediately.
7. The Premises will be a member of the Ipswich Central Radio System, or other scheme approved by Suffolk Police, to provide a means of two-way communication to report incidents between the premises and the local Police or CCTV monitoring centre. The premises will actively monitor and use the system.
Conditions agreed through mediation with Ipswich Borough Council’s Environmental Protection department
1. The external areas of the premises shall be regularly cleaned from all deposits of litter, rubbish and waste food after 23.00 hours during the provision of late night refreshment and always at the close of business.
2. Rubbish bins or other receptacles, as may be appropriate, shall be available within the premises for the disposal of its product related packaging.
3. Notices shall be displayed on the premises requesting that customers use the bins provided for the disposal of any food or packaging.
