Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Premises Operating Schedule
Conditions offered by applicant
General
Training of all staff on the premises to ensure that they understand and adhere to the law relating to the sale of alcohol
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
CCTV installed and maintained so fully operational at all times and tapes to be kept in accordance with Police guidelines
Recordings to be kept for a minimum of 30 days and to be made available to Police/Council officers if required
Alarm system in place
Public Safety
All staff trained to deal with any outbreak of fire at the premises
Fire extinguishers installed and regularly serviced in accordance with fire authority guidelines
To comply with any requirements of the fire authority
Prevention of Public Nuisance
Anyone who is drunk or appears to be buying alcohol for someone who is drunk will be refused the sale of alcohol
Protection of Children from Harm
Challenge 25 to be operated at all times
All staff will be trained to accept only a proof of age (Pass Scheme) card, passport or photo driving licence as acceptable forms of ID when selling alcohol to young people
Sign to be displayed at point of sale - ‘No proof of age - No sale’
Refusal book to be kept at the premises and maintained at all times
Conditions agreed through mediation with Suffolk Police Constabulary
Recordings should be kept for a minimum of 21 days and made available upon request to the Police and all other Responsible Authorities
The holder of the premises license shall use his best endeavours to ensure that the CCTV equipment is maintained in good working order, monitored during licensable activity and covers all areas used for licensable activity. The holder of the premises license shall also use his best endeavours to ensure that CCTV equipment is checked prior to the start of licensable activity. The holder of the premises license is to ensure that repairs to the system are done expeditiously
Fully auditable training records should be maintained for all staff in respect of the sale of alcohol. These will be made available for inspection upon request to the Police and all other Responsible Authorities
No Super Strength Lagers, Beers or Ciders - (6.5% alcohol by volume or above) are to be sold from the premises, (either cans or bottles). This excludes the sale of craft alcohol.
