Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Premises Operating Schedule
Conditions offered by applicant
General
Training of all staff on the premises to ensure that they understand and adhere to the law relating to the sale of alcohol
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
CCTV installed and maintained so fully operational at all times, and tapes to be kept in accordance with police guidelines. Recordings to be kept for a minimum of 30 days and to be made available to police/council officers if required.
Alarm system in place
Shutters at front windows
Public Safety
All staff trained to deal with any outbreak of fire at the premises. Fire extinguishers installed and regularly serviced in accordance with fire authority guidelines.
To comply with any requirements of the Fire Authority.
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
Anyone who is drunk or appears to be buying alcohol for someone who is drunk will be refused the sale of alcohol.
The Protection of Children from Harm
Challenge 25 to be operated at all times, and all staff will be trained to accept only a proof of age (pass scheme) card, passport or photo driving licence as acceptable forms of ID when selling alcohol to young people.
Sign to be displayed at point of sale - “No proof of age - No sale”
Refusal book to be kept at the premises and maintained at all times.
Conditions agreed with Suffolk Police Constabulary through mediation
The Premises Licence Holder as agreed to keep training logs of all staff members as required.
No sale of alcohol will be made to anyone appearing to by buying for underage persons.
Annex 3 - Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority
1. The premises to be open to the public;
Monday to Sunday from 06:00 to 23:00
2. The supply of alcohol for consumption off the premises to be permitted during the following hours;
Monday to Sunday from 06.00 to 23.00
In deciding on these timings, the committee has specifically taken into account the need to promote the licensing objectives of promoting public safety and preventing public nuisance in what is a residential area.
3. All steps listed by the Applicant to promote the 4 licensing objectives, at section P of his Premises Licence application form of 8 September 2008, shall be imposed as conditions on the Premises Licence.
4. It was also agreed between the Applicant and the Police, and we impose it as a condition, that the Applicant keeps training logs of all staff members and that no sale of alcohol will be made to anyone appearing to be buying for underage persons.
