Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1. Discounts will not be offered on drinks prices which may encourage binge drinking
2. Liaise with the local licensing Police as and when required.
3. Staff to receive training on the legal prohibitions on selling alcohol to minors and those who have already consumed too much alcohol.
4. Staff to receive training in relation to Health and Safety issues.
5. At least one member of staff is trained in first aid.
6. Windows and doors to be kept closed to prevent noise escape where appropriate.
7. Ventilation system to be in place to control the escape of cooking smells.
8. Children under 18 may only be admitted when accompanied by an appropriate adult.
9. Proof of age will be requested where age is in doubt.
10. No smoking area will be provided within the premises.

Restaurant Licence
1. Permitted Hours
Alcohol may be sold or supplied:
a) On weekdays, other than Christmas Day, Good Friday or New Year’s Eve from 10am to midnight.
b) On Sundays, other than Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve, and on Good Friday: noon to 11:30pm
c) On Christmas Day: noon to 11:30pm;
d) On New Year’s Eve from the end of permitted hours on New Years Eve to the start of permitted
hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, midnight on 31 December).
Restrictions
The above restrictions do not prohibit during the first thirty minutes after the
above hours the consumption of the alcohol on the premises by persons taking
meals there when the alcohol was supplied for consumption as ancillary to the meals;

Condition relating to Recorded Music
As detailed in Schedule 1, Part 2, Paragraph 7 - music incidental to certain other activities
The provision of entertainment consisting of the performance of live music or the playing of recorded music is not to be regarded as the provision of regulated entertainment for the purposes of this Act to the extent that it is incidental to some other activity which is not itself:-
(a) A description of entertainment falling within Schedule 1, Part 1, Paragraph 2 or,
(b) The provision of entertainment facilities.
Therefore the premises is entitled to the 24 hour playing of background recorded music incidental to the sale of alcohol, but as an exemption within the Act, not a licensable activity.

1. The variation (of alcohol off sales) to be granted until 10pm
2. Alcohol to be served to persons seated at tables only
Conditions agreed through mediation, at variation stage, with Suffolk Police Constabulary
1. The Premises Supervisor will ensure that the CCTV system covering the front of the premises is working at the beginning of each working day.
2. CCTV cameras will be kept in good working order and any maintenance and repairs will be carried out expeditiously.
3. Recordings will be retained for a period of at least 28 days, and made available to the Police upon request.
