Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Premises Operating Schedule
Conditions offered by the applicant
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
CCTV to be maintained, recordings kept for a period to be agreed with the police and offered for inspection if required by a police officer or authorised officer of the Council
A panic button system to be installed and in the event of its failing to be repaired as soon as practicable
Good security with Security locks
Staff will be given initial training to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities under the Licensing Act
Public Safety
Adequate first aid equipment and materials are available on the premises
In the absence of adequate daylight, suitable and sufficient artificial lighting is provided and maintained in any area accessible to the public
Fire safety equipment will be kept on the premises
Staff will be trained to assist disabled customers in negotiating their way around the shop
The Prevention of Public Nuisance
The premises and frontage will be swept once each trading day and all rubbish is disposed of in the litter bins provided by the Council
Signage will be placed in the shop reminding customers to leave quietly
Staff will be given initial training to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities under the Licensing Act
The Protection of Children from Harm
CCTV
Adequate and sufficient lighting
Fire safety equipment
All alcohol to be within observation of the servery
Refusals book to be maintained with entries made as soon as practicable after any incidents
The 'Challenge 21' policy to be adopted
Staff will be given initial training to ensure they are aware of their responsibilities under the Licensing Act and to ask for proof of age where applicable
Conditions agreed through mediation with Suffolk Police Constabulary
To reduce alcohol sale hours from 7am to 8am
To keep CCTV recordings for a minimum of 28 days and to make those recordings available to the Police and other Responsible Authorities at their request
