Conditions offered by applicant
CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE PREVENTION OF CRIME AND DISORDER
CCTV & Communication
1. | I will install Video/CCTV equipment inside/outside the premises and ensure that it is maintained in working order. |
2. | I will set Video/CCTV equipment to record from the time that the premises open to the public until the premises close and all members of the public have left. |
3. | I will ensure that any cameras covering the exterior of the premises are left to record for the duration of the tape and for a period not less than …. (please specify). (Where members of the public congregate outside the premises after they are closed) |
4. | I will ensure that recordings are retained for at least twenty eight days and that copies in a viewable format are produced to an authorised officer on demand. |

Proof of Age Cards

Litter

CONDITIONS RELATING TO THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN FROM HARM
General

22. | I will implement a proof of age policy agreed by the police and local authority; Note: Proof of age cards are dealt with in the pool of conditions relating to the crime and disorder objective. However, it may be appropriate to consider the production of proof of age cards to ensure that appropriate checks can be made where the presence of children is restricted by age at certain time. |
23. | I will ensure an adequate risk assessment is in place with regard to the protection of children from harm whilst they may be present on the premises and while licensable activities are taking place. Such risk assessment to be produced to an authorised officer on demand. |
Conditions agreed through mediation with Suffolk Constabulary
No Super Strength Lagers, Beers or Ciders - (6.5% alcohol by volume or above) are to be sold from the premises, (either cans or bottles).
The Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. Digital CCTV shall be used in the premises.
2. A member of staff will be available on the premises during all opening hours that is trained and able to download images from the CCTV System.
3. CCTV images shall be kept for a minimum of 28 days and available to Police and the Licensing Authority upon request.
4. The CCTV shall be maintained in good working order, and cover all areas used for licensable activity also be situated to provide a full facial image of persons entering the premises.
Protection of Children from Harm
1. Fully auditable training records should be maintained for all staff in respect of the sale of alcohol. These will be made available for inspection upon request to the Police and all other Responsible Authorities
2. To implement the Challenge 25 Scheme, and require photo I.D. proof of age where there is reason to suspect that the individual may be under 25 years of age
3. A refusal book will be kept at the premises and maintained at all times. This will be provided to Police and all other Responsible Authorities on request and can be used for incidents at the premises as well
