Annex 2 - Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
Conditions offered by the Applicant
General
1. We will work closely with all Responsible Authorities to ensure Crime, Disorder and Nuisance is controlled
2. Alcohol will be sold responsibly to reduce the negative impact on the local community
Prevention of Crime and Disorder
1. The building will be secured against unauthorised entry - including window shutters
2. CCTV will be in operation with a minimum of 6 cameras positioned to capture all areas of the shop
3. A refusals book and age verification scheme will be in operation - Challenge 25
4. Alcohol will be monitored at all times with storage in view of the till area
Public Safety
1. The Premises will conform to all Statutory Health and Safety requirements
Protection of Children from Harm
1. An age verification scheme will be in place with Challenge 25 enforced and a refusal book available for inspection by Responsible Authorities
Annex 3 - Conditions attached after a hearing by the licensing authority (and as agreed through mediation with Suffolk Constabulary)
1. CCTV shall be provided in the form of a recordable system, capable of providing pictures of evidential quality in all lighting conditions particularly facial recognition. Cameras shall encompass all ingress and egress to the premises, fire exits, outside areas and all areas where the sale/supply of alcohol occurs. Equipment must be maintained in good working order, be correctly time and date stamped, recordings must be kept in date order, numbered sequentially and kept for a period of no less than 28 days and made available to Police on demand. The Premises Licence Holder must ensure at all times a DPS or appointed member of staff is capable and competent at downloading CCTV footage in a viewable format on disc or storage device to the Police/Local Authority within 36 hours of a request. The Recording equipment and discs/storage media shall be kept in a secure environment under the control of the DPS or other responsible named individual. An operational daily log report must be maintained endorsed by signature, indicating the system has been checked and is compliant, in the event of any failings; actions taken are to be recorded. In the event of technical failure of the CCTV equipment, the Premises Licence Holder/DPS shall report the failure to the Police and Licensing Authority immediately.
2. Fully auditable training records should be maintained for all staff in respect of the sale of alcohol. These will be made available for inspection upon request to the Police and all other Responsible Authorities
3. No Super Strength Lagers, Beers or Ciders - (6.5% alcohol by volume or above) are to be sold from the premises, (either cans or bottles).
